SyncAssets 5500

The SyncAssets 5500 message is triggered when a serial number is fitted to an approved tag and the "OnTagAsBuiltRemoved" event has been configured as defined in Event Subscription.
Follow these steps to create a SyncAssets 5500 message for a new tag.
Tip: You can trigger a SyncAssets 5500 message from an existing tag, by opening the tag and removing the fitted serial number.
  1. In AssetWise, create a new tag.
  2. Enter all required metadata so that the tag can be approved.
  3. Add a serialized item as an physical item.
  4. Add the item as an equivalent item to the tag.
  5. Approve the tag.
  6. Install the item to the tag.
  7. Assign a serial number from the installed item to the tag.
  8. Remove the fitted serial number.
When the SyncAssets 5500 message has been processed by the Interoperability service, an XML object is created in the outgoing destination, as define in Message Details.
